How XRY Pro helped recover critical evidence from an unresponsive smartphone

The modern Android device was in critical condition: the battery was completely discharged, it did not turn on and did not show any charge indicator.
The forensic specialist performed a physical extraction using MSAB XRY Pro. Thanks to XRY Pro it was possible to recover active data, deleted content, residual fragments of information and artifacts located in previously unallocated memory areas.
Currently, approximately 40% of mobile forensics performed in the prosecutor's office rely on MSAB tools. According to the forensic specialist in charge of the case, between 20% and 25% of the seized devices could not have been analyzed with other tools, since they could not access the data.
