Magnet Talks 2026 brought together the country's digital forensic community in Santiago
Last Wednesday, March 18, a new edition of Magnet Talks 2026 was held at the Hotel Icon de Las Condes, in Santiago, a meeting that, like every year, has Santiago as a meeting point for the main actors in computer forensics in Chile.
The event, organized by Byteinseyets, brought together users from different institutions throughout the country, including police, prosecutors, armed forces and prison police, creating a close space to share experiences, knowledge and real challenges of investigative work.
During the day, the latest developments in the ecosystem of digital forensic analysis tools were presented, addressing different stages of the chain of evidence. The ability to analyze large volumes of extractions, compare them efficiently, as well as new mobile device unlocking techniques and advanced image analysis were especially highlighted.
Beyond the technical, Magnet Talks has established itself as a key meeting point between users, where collaboration and direct exchange allow us to continue strengthening investigative capabilities in an increasingly demanding environment.
From Byteinseyets, we deeply value the trust and participation of all who were part of this day, reaffirming our commitment to continue bringing technology, knowledge and support to the digital forensic community in Chile.
