MSAB and Child Rescue Coalition team up to combat online child sexual abuse.

MSAB, announces its collaboration withChild Rescue Coalition(CRC) in support of theOperation Artemis, an international initiative focused on identifying offenders and assisting law enforcement agencies in combating the distribution of child sexual abuse material.

As part of this collaboration, MSAB provides digital forensic capabilities through its mobile data extraction and analysis tools, as well as training and operational guidance to agencies around the world. The ability to obtain and process data from mobile devices is a critical component in many investigations related to online child exploitation. As mobile phones are often a key source of evidence, MSAB technology enables examiners to extract, analyze and report on relevant data securely, efficiently and in compliance with the law.

“We support Operation Artemis because it reflects the principles that guide our work: developing technology that allows law enforcement to act effectively, maintain integrity and achieve meaningful results,” says Peter Gille, CEO of MSAB. “Collaborating with the Child Rescue Coalition on this effort allows us to contribute to investigations that put victims first and strengthen global responses against online child exploitation.”

The long-term objective of the operation is to increase the visibility of identified survivors within investigative priorities, allowing agencies to act with technical evidence and context of the victim. This approach not only strengthens judicial outcomes, but also ensures that victims are no longer anonymous in the justice process.

Since its launch a year ago, theOperation ArtemisIt is active on all continents, with hundreds of cases under investigation in Africa, Europe, Central and South America, the Middle East and Asia. The initiative has supported the coordination of targeted multinational operations, resulted in multiple arrests and, most importantly, contributed to the rescue of children suffering from ongoing sexual abuse.
