Improved Support for Drive Interfaces

More high-speed input/output ports to enable preliminary analysis and acquisition of more data in less time.

  • Origin ports:2x USB 3.2 Gen2 (10 Gbps) Type C, 2x PCIe Gen3 x4, 2x SATA Gen 3.
  • Destination ports:2x USB 3.2 Gen2 (10 Gbps) Type C, 2x PCIe Gen3 x4, 2x SATA Gen 3, with option to add additional 2x SATA Gen 3 via drive bay TX2-S1.
  • Additional I/O Capabilities:2 10Gbps Ethernet ports (1Gbps compatible) and 2 USB 3.2 Gen1 (5Gbps) Type C ports for accessories.

Key and Advanced Features

  • Concurrent Verification– TX2 will now start read verification as soon as evidence begins to be saved to the destination, eliminating the wait for mirroring to complete.
  • Parallel Hash Verification (patent pending)– Allows data fragments to be computed in parallel during read verification, maintaining traditional sequential hashes in the forensic data output.
  • Tree HashingFirst in the industryon a portable forensic device. Based on a two-tier open standard, it enables massive parallelization of hash calculation in both acquisition and read verification, maximizing processing resources and eliminating the bottleneck of sequential hashing.
  • Dynamic evaluation of processing resources– TX2 will automatically start any number of active jobs, with the option to manually start queued jobs.
  • Support for multi-factor authentication– Compatible with the standardPIV Smart Card (NIST FIPS 201-3), allowing the use of devicesYubiKey.
  • Target drive reconfiguration function– Allows you to deleteHPA/DCO/AMA, wipe, encrypt and/or format drives in one efficient process.
  • Support for separate NVMe space names– TX2 will detect and allow attachment of separate NVMe space names, which can hide key forensic evidence on NVMe SSDs.
  • gallery view– Viewing images in gallery format within a folder, with the option to zoom and easily move between them.
  • Support for hot swapping PCIe drives– Allows you to connect or disconnect PCIe media without having to turn off the device.
